Plans Announced For New Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant
News Release
WABASH — McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering and architectural firm, has partnered with Process and Storage Solutions of Alabama, to provide engineering services for Bionutrients, a new fertilizer manufacturing plant in Wabash.
McMahon and PASS have a long-standing working relationship, spanning more than 20 years. Their work for Bionutrients includes the construction of two new facilities, totaling nearly 300,000 square feet, with McMahon providing architectural and structural engineering. When complete, the new $50 million dollar operation will use cutting-edge technology to produce organic field nutrients.
“Any project that is a ‘win’ for the client, the community and provides new sustainable technology and practices is definitely in our company’s wheelhouse,” said Michael A. Martin, AIA, senior architect for McMahon. “We have been fundamental in building design and design project management that has benefited the owner, contractor and the contractor’s design partners.”
The plant is expected to be fully operational in the summer of 2023 and will bring more than 40 jobs to Indiana.
Bionutrients is a partnership between Italy-based Hello Nature (formerly Italpollina) and North Manchester-based MPS Egg Farms.
