WARSAW – A duplex burst into fire Monday morning just north of Warsaw.
The building at 3985 N. Meadow Ridge Drive – right at the corner of CR 400N – caught fire sometime around 9:30 a.m.
Two neighbors, Bobby Wadkins and Chelsea Rapp, both said they heard two explosions that made them both think somebody was knocking on their doors.
Soon after the second explosion, Rapp said she saw firetrucks arriving.
It was unclear if there were any injuries.
The fire caused heavy damage to the northern unit.
Among the departments responding were Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Plain Township Fire Department and Atwood Fire Department.
The property is owned by Terry Baker, according to Beacon.com.
