Warsaw Library Using ARPA Money For Ebooks

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Public Library’s Board of Trustees learned about a transfer of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds during a brief May 9 board meeting.
Business Manager Renee Sweeny informed the board that the $15,880 WCPL received in ARPA funds was transferred to the library’s eBooks budget.
Sweeny also said 30 new computers for staff members were purchased.
At the meeting, Library Director Ann Zydek said WCPL’s summer reading program will begin on June 1. The theme is “Oceans of Possibilities.”
Board members were also asked to submit evaluations of Zydek’s job performance prior to the June meeting.
The board’s next meeting is at 4 p.m. Monday, June 13.
