SYRACUSE — A new child care option is coming to Syracuse later this month.
Wee Warriors Academy plans to open its doors to children 3 and older once the necessary licensing permits are issued, which owner Leticia Howell said will happen in the next couple weeks.
Howell, who also owns a licensed home day care in Syracuse, said she saw a need in the Wawasee community for a day care facility.
The academy, which will be located at 200 E. Palm Drive, will be open 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
During the school year, they will provide before/after school care for elementary-aged students, as well as a preschool program for children ages 3-6.
Howell said the new business will be holding open houses from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 12, and 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 14.
For more information, come to the open house or call (574) 457-0155. They also have a Facebook page, which can be found by searching for @weewarriorsacademy on the social media platform.
