Claypool

Officers with the Claypool Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 3:25 p.m. Saturday, April 30, West SR 25, west of South CR 600W, Mentone. Driver: Ramon A. Munoz, 20, East US 30, Pierceton. Munoz was traveling west on SR 25 when his vehicle left the roadway and entered trees, causing his vehicle to come to rest on the trees up in the air. Munoz complained of chest pain from his seat belt but refused treatment at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.

Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 10:42 p.m. Saturday, April 30, East CR 400N, east of North CR 375E, Warsaw. Driver: Skyler D. Knisely, 20, South SR 15, Claypool. Knisely was traveling east on East CR 400N when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a metal pole. Damage up to $5,000.
• 6:48 a.m. Friday, April 29, North SR 15, south of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Drivers: Matthew M. Joldersma, 22, East Bluewater Highway, Ionia, Mich.; and Caleb J. Chapman, 45, US Highway 6, Nappanee. Joldersma was traveling south on SR 15 when he rear-ended Chapman’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 4:38 p.m. Friday, April 29, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Drivers: Jessica N. Bland, 28, Bibler Avenue, Winona Lake; and Deborah L. Jenkins, 53, West Fourth Street, Milford. Both Bland and Jenkins were attempting to exit a parking lot when Bland hit the driver’s side of Jenkins’ vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
• 7:38 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 1 Warrior Path, Syracuse. Drivers: Jacob T. McKinney, 18, EMS D18 Lane, Syracuse; and Jackson M. Davis, 17, East Goodison Road, North Webster. McKinney’s vehicle hit the side of Davis’ vehicle while both were in a parking lot. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 8:28 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 902 E. Market St., Warsaw. Driver: Carolina D. Mendez Romero, 36, South Wood Street, Warsaw. Mendez Romero was attempting to move her vehicle out of her driveway. She put her vehicle into reverse and backed into the neighboring house’s garage at 902 E. Market St. The property is owned by Brandi M. Tlahuetl, Warsaw. Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory advised the structure is no longer sound and will most likely need rebuilt. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $50,000.
• 9:46 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 3825 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. Craig Skillings said an unknown driver sideswiped his vehicle while it was parked and unoccupied. Damage up to $1,000.
• 12:49 p.m. Friday, April 29, Dubois Drive, near North Harrison Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Harper E. Dedman, 19, North Lincoln Street, Converse; and Lori A. Cone, 59, River Oaks Drive, Woodstock, Ga. Dedman was traveling west on Dubois Drive when he rear-ended Cone’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
