Warsaw Community Public Library Announces May Events

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Public Library will host the following events in May.
Online bedtime stories continue at 7 p.m. each Thursday in May. Listen to guest readers share their favorite stories on Facebook and YouTube.
Join the WCPL at First Friday in downtown Warsaw at 6 p.m. May 6, for a special Mother’s Day story time. Stop by from 5-8 p.m. that day to learn more about upcoming events and services available at the library.
Greyt Readers will meet from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 7, and from 6-7:30 p.m. May 16. Everyone is invited to read and visit with the greyhounds.
Friends of the Library Story Emporium Bookstore will be open from 1-4 p.m. May 5, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 14 and 28, and 1-3:30 p.m. May 20 and 27. The store is in the library and will feature a special sale each week.
Kids can play Minecraft at 4:30 p.m. May 17. Play on a library computer or bring your own. Register in advance to guarantee your spot.
Lego Club meets from 10:30 a.m. to noon May 21. Children are invited to drop in and build solo or with a group. Legos are provided and families are welcome.
Folk duo “Hungrytown” will perform at 6 p.m. May 31. The duo has received extensive radio airplay worldwide and toured in North America, Europe and New Zealand. Please register in advance.
