WARSAW — Those wishing to celebrate diversity will have the chance to do so in Warsaw on Saturday, April 30.
The nonprofit ONE Warsaw, which works to promote inclusion in the Warsaw area, is sponsoring “Celebrating Us” from 4-8 p.m. This marks the third annual event.
Organizers said they expect to have 36 booths spread around the courthouse square Saturday.
ONE Warsaw Treasurer Heather Lardino added that some of the booths will offer information about mental health services, education, and recreation for families.
There will be food and entertainment from various cultures as well as a dunk tank, bouncy slide and face painting for kids.
Lardino said the group was happy to return to an in-person event following the COVID-19 pandemic.
“(It’s) a welcomed feeling of community and unity,” she said.
“It’s time to celebrate our differences and experience other cultural traditions including food, dancing, and music,” she added.
Food from the following:
