Elkhart County
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 8:06 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 68477 Main St., New Paris. Brenda Hawkins, 74, said that between 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 27; and 8 a.m. Thursday, April 28, an unknown person caused damage to the front door at New Paris Store by throwing a brick at it.
- 3:03 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 70959 CR 11, Nappanee. Judith L. Beachy, 50; and Jason R. Beachy, 49, reported between 7 p.m. Feb. 1 and 8 a.m. Feb. 2, suspects stole a mailbox.
- 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, Maria Borkholder, 20, 71709 CR 15, Nappanee, reported between 7:53 p.m. April 8; and 7:49 p.m. April 18, suspects committed fraudulent activity.
- 9 a.m. Sunday, April 25, Amy Stauffer, 40, 69095 CR 21, New Paris, reported between 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 20; and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, suspects vandalized her property.
- 6:47 a.m. Sunday, April 25, Choice Homes reported between 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23; and 7 a.m. Sunday, April 25, suspects painted the inside of a portable toilet at 20561 Matthew Drive, Milford.
Goshen
Officers with the Goshen Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 1:25 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 400 Lincolnway East, Goshen. Kent Farias, 58, Syracuse, reported an unknown suspect fired a BB gun at him while he was walking in the area of Lincolnway East and Monroe Street. A report was taken.
- 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2530 Lindon Drive, Goshen. Craig A. Bradtmueller, 35, Argos, reported he was battered by a co-worker while working at Keystone RV. A report was taken.
