Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 9:35 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, North CR 800W, south of West CR 400N, Etna Green. Driver: Pamela J. Cloud, 55, North Old US Highway 31, Rochester. Cloud was traveling south on North CR 800W when two deer entered the roadway, one of which hit Cloud’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 9:19 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, West SR 25, east of South CR 780W, Mentone. Driver: Gregory S. Simons, 60, East CR 825S, Macy. Simons was traveling west on SR 25 when a deer entered the roadway. A passenger in Simons’ vehicle, Barbara L. Simons, 62, Macy, complained of stomach pain but refused treatment at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
• 4:55 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, West US 30, west of North CR 350W, Warsaw. Driver: Chris D. Moore, 57, North SR 19, Akron. Moore was traveling west on West US 30 in the construction zone when his lane ended and his vehicle hit several barricades. Damage up to $5,000.
• 8:59 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, North CR 500W, south of West CR 400N, Warsaw. Driver: Carolyn J. Sudlow, 73, West CR 600N, Warsaw. Sudlow was traveling north on North CR 500W when her vehicle left the roadway, hitting an REMC utility pole head-on. Sudlow complained of shoulder pain and was checked by medics at the scene. Damage up to $50,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 10:56 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, East John Street, south of North Front Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Garrett B. Baldridge, 36, Aspen Court, Warsaw; and Dennis L. Huff, 73, CR 15, Goshen. Baldridge said he was turning south on North Front Street form East John Street when he turned too wide, entering the path of Huff’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 4142 E. Bowser Road, Syracuse. Driver: Casey D. Ferguson, 28, Bitter Sweet Circle, Nappanee. Ferguson told officers he was in Warsaw when his vehicle was hit several times by a female driver. He said the woman caused him to crash in the area where his vehicle was found. Ferguson’s vehicle left the roadway, hitting a tree. Upon officers’ arrival at the accident scene, Ferguson was not present as he was taking himself to a local hospital due to chest pain from the accident. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 3:59 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, Anchorage Road, east of Kimal Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Marsha K. Kuhns, 26, Laurelwood Drive, Warsaw; and Kelsey J. Reese, 31, Salem Street, Lafayette. Kuhns was traveling east on Anchorage Road when she rear-ended Reese’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
• 3:14 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Drivers: Ana I. Estrada-Lopez, 17, River Avenue E., Warsaw; and Parker D. Goble, 18, South CR 100W, Claypool. Estrada-Lopez backed her vehicle into Goble’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
• 7:31 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, South Columbia Street, near West Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Driver: Arturo Rodriguez, 45, South 52nd Court, Cicero, Ill. Rodriguez was traveling north on South Columbia Street when the trailer of his vehicle hit the viaduct. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 2:35 p.m. Sunday, April 17, North US 31 and East Olson Road, Rochester. Kayla L. Tolley, 22, Mishawaka, reported she hit a deer.
• 2:10 p.m. Saturday, April 16, SR 14 and South CR 700W, Rochester. Tucker W. Eberhart, 24, North Judson, reported he hit a turkey.
• 1:47 a.m. Saturday, April 16, East CR 150S and South CR 500E, Rochester. Irene S. Torres, 20, Rochester, swerved to miss a deer and went into a field.
• 11:43 p.m. Friday, April 15, East CR 50S and South CR 500E, Rochester. Justin W. Brady, 43, Rochester, reported his vehicle entered a field and requested a tow truck.
• 8:17 p.m. Friday, April 15, West CR 550S and South CR 1100W, Kewanna. Jennifer L. Mollett, 43, Star City, reported she hit a deer and that it was dead in a ditch. She requested a deer kill tag and her 2018 Kia Forte received heavy damage.
• 4:50 a.m. Friday, April 15, West SR 110 and North CR 600W, Rochester. Adam A. Olson, 42, Cheney, Wash., reported he hit a cow and it was in the middle of the roadway.
• 3:20 a.m. Friday, April 15, 14768 E. SR 114, Akron. Benjamin W. Masten, 19, Leo, reported he hit a deer.
