Bell Memorial Public Library Offering Makers’ Space
Press Release
MENTONE — Bell Memorial Public Library staff invites the public to come and play in their Makers Space.
Each week, the library will have make-and-take craft kits (will differ for each age group.) Watch the library’s website, as well as their Facebook page, for details. The library also has a patron-use VHS videotape converter to digital. Contact Stephen Boggs at (574) 893-3200 or [email protected] to set up a time to come to the library to learn how to use the machine and begin digitizing homemade video tapes. Users will need to bring their own storage device such as a USB flash drive (4 GB minimum) or an external hard drive. Copying off-air programs is not allowed. There is a Cricut die cutting machine for public use. Patrons will need to bring their own supplies such as vinyl, card stock, etc.
Teen Book Club will meet from 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 19.
