Area Accident Reports
Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 4:27 a.m. Friday, April 8, South SR 15, north of South CR 300W, Warsaw. Driver: Larry G. Honeycutt, 42, North Fisher Street, Wabash. Honeycutt was traveling north on SR 15 when a deer entered the roadway. He swerved his vehicle to avoid hitting the deer, which resulted in his vehicle leaving the roadway, hitting a mailbox and a support wire for a Nipsco utility pole. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
- 3:48 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, South Ferguson Road, east of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Robert W. Remeur, 31, 13th Street, Plainwell, Mich.; and Poaolo D. Palmitessa, 51, SR 17, Plymouth. Reumer was traveling east on West CR 200S and was approaching the intersection of South Ferguson Road when he rear-ended Palmitessa’s vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 7:59 a.m. Friday, April 8, 100 Old SR 15, Leesburg. Driver: Michael L. Eppenbaugh, 40, Tippecanoe Drive B., Warsaw. Eppenbaugh’s vehicle left the roadway and hit a fence at Hoplore Brewing Company. Damage up to $2,500.
