Warsaw Man Arrested For Punching Woman

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested after allegedly punching a woman in the eye.
Nicky Lee Blair, 42, 340 E. Levi Lee Road Lot 202, Warsaw, is charged with domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury and domestic battery with a prior conviction enhancement, both level 6 felonies; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On Feb. 23, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a battery report in Warsaw. Upon arrival at the scene, the deputy spoke with a woman who said that Blair battered her.
According to court documents, when the woman asked Blair something, Blair began to yell at her and pushed her.
He then allegedly punched her in the left eye and continued arguing with her. When Blair found out the woman contacted law enforcement, he got into his vehicle and left the scene.
The deputy noticed the left side of the woman’s face was swollen and that she had a bruise on the left side of her back.
Blair was previously convicted of battery resulting in bodily injury in Kosciusko County in December 2010.
For this case, Blair was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on April 4, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
