Three-Vehicle Accident Occurs In Syracuse, One Injured
SYRACUSE — A three-vehicle accident in Syracuse resulted in one person being taken to the hospital with minor injuries today at around 3 p.m. Friday, March 18. The accident occurred near 205 W. Railroad Ave.
The driver of a black 2014 Buick Enclave, Mary Leach of Larwill, was traveling west when she attempted to turn left. Her vehicle was rear ended by the driver of a white 2011 Ford Super Duty F250 truck, and the truck was rear ended by the driver of a black 2009 Ford Fusion.
The driver of the truck, Felicity Clawson, and her male passenger were not injured. Clawson and her passenger are employees of Nutrien Ag Solutions, Milford.
Leach and her three grandchildren ages 6, 4 and 2 years old, were not injured.
The driver of the Ford Fusion, a minor, was transported by Turkey Creek EMS Department to a local hospital with minor injuries. The Ford Fusion sustained front-end damage. The two other vehicles had minor damage.
Syracuse Police Department and Turkey Creek Township Fire and EMS departments also assisted at the scene.
