WARSAW – Warsaw’s morning optimists want to know how young people are keeping their spirits up in challenging times.

The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club is hosting its annual Optimist Oratorical Contest at 12:30 p.m. on March 27 at the old courthouse in Warsaw. Substantial prizes also will be co-sponsored by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and The Warsaw Breakfast Club. 

The theme for this year is “Staying Optimistic in Challenging Times.”

The contest is open to anyone in Kosciusko County under the age of 19 and still in school.

Applications are due by March 23. The maximum number of contestants is 20, so this is first-come, first-serve. Click here for the application form.
