Marshall County Libertarians Seeking Candidates
News Release
PLYMOUTH – Representatives of the Libertarian Party in Marshall County are seeking to line up candidates for this year’s election.
The party is still looking for candidates for local races, the group said in a news release.
Candidates wishing to seek the Libertarian nomination for county and municipal level races in Marshall County need to reach out via email or Facebook to the LPMC officers. Nominees must be LPIN members in good standing with the party.
The political group held its first annual county convention earlier this week to nominate delegates to the State Convention, make changes to the party’s by-laws, and nominate candidates running on the local level.
Ty Shively and Timothy Taylor were certified as delegates to the LPIN State Convention, where they, along with County Chair Tony Hutchinson, will be able to vote on the nomination of Libertarian candidates on the state and national levels.
“We look forward to an exciting 2022, spreading the message of Liberty to the residents of Marshall County and the citizens of Indiana,” the news release said.
Libertarians will hold a state convention this weekend in Fishers.
