Warsaw Police

Police investigated the following accidents:

• 2:30 p.m. Feb. 5 – On US 30 near North CR 250E, Warsaw. Two vehicles both headed west in the same lane collided. Drivers: Thomas McDowell, 25, South Harkless Drive, Syracuse; Athena Stenstrom, 38, South Bourbon Street, Bourbon. Damages up to $2,500.
• 3:49 p.m. Feb. 5 – Mitchells Boulevard and Gussie Court, Warsaw. A large truck on a snowy road sideswiped a parked vehicle. Driver: Taylor See, East Old Road 30, Pierceton. The other vehicle was registered to Jody Satterfield, Claypool. Damages up to $2,500.
• 3:42 p.m. Feb. 4 – On East Center Street and North Park Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Tony Leek, 57, 320 E. Main St., No. 312, Warsaw; Ruben Lopez, 50, Clark Street, Warsaw. Vehicles collide as one was preparing to turn. Damages up to $10,000.

Kosciusko County

Police investigated the following accidents:

• 10:27 a.m. Feb. 6 – On North Fox Farm Road and North Sellers Drive, near Warsaw.  Vehicles collided after one could not negotiate a turn. Drivers: Anthony Burkholder, 27, Robin Drive, Warsaw; Antonio Bernal, 51, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Damages up to $10,000.
• 1:27 p.m. Feb. 5 – On North CR 100E, near East Lantern Road. Vehicle rear-ended after braking for mail truck. Drivers: Korde Mortakis, 68, North CR 750W, Lawrill; Uriel Sanches Olivera, 41, East River Avenue, Warsaw. Damages up to $10,000.
• 10:34 a.m. Feb. 5 – On North CR 650W, near Warsaw. A two-vehicle accident. Drivers: Max Wray, 64, West CR 100N, Warsaw; Robert Robbins, North CR 650E, Warsaw. Vehicles collided when one was backing out of driveway. Damages up to $25,000.
• 8:28 a.m. Feb. 5 – On West CR 125N, near CR 950W, near Etna Green. Driver: Rita Hyde, 76, West CR 125N, Etna Green. Driver struck a mailbox in snowy conditions. Damage up to $1,000.
• 12 p.m. Feb. 4 – Near lot 129 in Whispering Pines, 340 E. Levi Lee Road, outside of Warsaw. Vehicles collided in slick conditions after a car was backing out of a parking space. Drivers: Ashley Woodward, 28, East Levi Lee Road; Charles Brown, 52, East Levi Lee Road. Damages up to $10,000.
• 1:12 p.m., Feb. 3 – on East CR 450N, west of North CR 175E, near Warsaw. Driver: Korey B. Green, 43, West Prairie Street, Warsaw. Green said an oncoming vehicle that was “hugging the centerline” ran him off the road. His vehicle then hit a pole. Damages up to $10,000.

North Webster

Police investigated the following accidents:

• 11:55 a.m. Feb. 5 – On West Crystal Lake Road, near Warsaw. Driver lost control in snowy conditions and sideswiped a pole. Driver: Jessie Julian, 25, East Street, Tippecanoe. Damages up to $10,000.
• 11:27 a.m. Feb. 5 – On East Epworth Forest Road, near North Webster. Vehicle hit deer. Driver: Danielle Gunkle, 23, West Crystal Flash Road, North Webster. Damage up to $2,500.
