Pray For Ukraine
Dear Editor:
Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association is designating this Sunday, Jan. 30, as a day of prayer for Ukraine. We pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in that nation who are sharing peace and hope to a nation on the brink of invasion by Russia. Cries of the righteous are going up to the throne for protection, safety and security of their land. Please share this with others.
Heavily Father, we seek your face in this tumultuous World. As tensions continue to rise, as soldiers on both sides of the conflict prepare, as mothers and fathers pray, let us join them in a plea for peace. Let us pray for the governments of Russia, the United States and the European Union to seek all avenues for a peaceful resolution to the current tensions, securing the independence and safety of Ukraine. We pray for the followers of Christ who are pointing Ukrainians to the Cross. May your truth guide hearts and words in our own communities to de-escalate the tensions that consume our world. Lord Jesus, guide us, we pray, as we strive to be your peacemakers. Amen.
