Officers with the Claypool Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 4:44 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, West CR 350S, west of South CR 450W, Claypool. Driver: Joel W. Hallstrom, 61, East SR 114, Akron. Hallstrom was traveling west on CR 350S when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 8:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, South Detroit Street, north of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Daniel R. Ruiz-Espinoza, 17, East CR 200N 67, Warsaw; and Quentin J. Maahs, 17, North Old Farm Road West, Warsaw. Ruiz-Espinoza’s vehicle rear-ended Maahs’ vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
• 5:49 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, North SR 13, south of North CR 800E, North Webster. Driver: Landon M. Hawks, 27, North Tepee Drive, Warsaw. Hawks was traveling north on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
• 6:07 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, West CR 400N, east of North CR 400W, Warsaw. Driver: Morgynn L. Summers, 23, West CR 550N, Warsaw. Summers was travel gin west on West CR 400N when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
• 3:26 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, North CR 150W, north of West CR 300N, Warsaw. Driver: Cesar Lara-Acosta, 20, North Old SR 15 42, Warsaw. Lara-Acosta was traveling north on CR 150W when he lost control of his vehicle. This resulted in his vehicle leaving the roadway and sideswiping a utility pole. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 3:41 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, West CR 600N, east of North CR 300W, Warsaw. Driver: Jack Daniels, 39, North Sir Gallahad Place, Cromwell. Daniels was traveling east on West CR 600N when he lost control of his vehicle. This resulted in his vehicle leaving the roadway, hitting a utility pole on the passenger side of his vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
• 1:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, North CR 800W, south of West CR 300N, Warsaw. Driver: Marcus M. Williams, 36, Rainbow Bend Boulevard F., Elkhart. Williams was traveling on North CR 800W when he lost control of his vehicle. This resulted in his vehicle leaving the roadway and hitting a tree and telephone box. No injuries were reported in the accident. Upon officer arrival, Williams had left his vehicle at the scene. Damage up to $25,000.
• 7:23 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, South CR 700E, south of East CR 800S, Pierceton. Driver: Brett A. Anthony, 50, South CR 700E, Pierceton. Anthony was traveling north on CR 700E when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $25,000.
• 7:17 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, East CR 400S, east of South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Driver: Kayla E. Bitzel, 34, South CR 300W, Wabash. Bitzel was traveling west on East CR 400S when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
• 6:32 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, South SR 15, south of West Union Street, Warsaw. Driver: Michele L. Avery, 46, East Deerwood Court, Warsaw. Avery was traveling south on South SR 15 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
• 9:16 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, South CR 400W, north of West CR 525S, Warsaw. Driver: Michelle R. Hatcher, 45, Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Hatcher was traveling south on South CR 400W when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
• 6:42 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, North Turkey Creek Road, west of North Hiawatha Lane, Syracuse. Driver: Emma-Kate Wilson, 17, West CR 140N, Cromwell. Wilson was traveling west on Hatchery Road when her vehicle left the roadway, hitting a phone box and utility pole. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 9:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, South SR 13, near East SR 14, North Manchester. Driver: Shannon E. Lee, 25, South Village Street, Pierceton. Lee was traveling north on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
• 11:05 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, West CR 400N, west of North Prairie Street, Warsaw. Driver: Hugo P. Pedraza, 40, West Old Road 30 600, Warsaw. Pedraza was traveling west on CR 400N when a deer entered the roadway. Pedraza swerved his vehicle to avoid hitting the deer, resulting in his vehicle leaving the roadway and hitting a tree. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 6:27 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, South SR 15, near West CR 1300S, Silver Lake. Drivers: John J. Sutherlin, 30, Loher Lane, Warsaw; and James R. Beal, 73, Grayston Avenue, Huntington. Sutherlin was traveling north on SR 15 when his vehicle began pulling one direction. As he tried to correct his vehicle, Sutherlin’s vehicle spun into the southbound lane of SR 15, resulting in Beal’s vehicle hitting Sutherlin’s. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $50,000.
• 7:41 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, East SR 14, east of South CR 700E, North Manchester. Drivers: Zoey E. Gaff, 16, West Tower Street, Pierceton; and Payton K. Robinson, 20, Ridgewood Drive Apartment 14, Fort Wayne. Gaff attempted to pass Robinson’s vehicle while traveling east on SR 14 when she slid into Robinson’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 1:12 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw. Driver: Roberta D. Cook, 61, East Clark Street, Warsaw. Cook was traveling north on North Park Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle. Her vehicle slid into a tree. Cook complained of head and chest pain and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Cook’s vehicle was towed from the scene. Damage up to $25,000.
• 3:38 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, East US 30, near Springhill Road, Warsaw. Drivers: unknown; and Dustin M. Bradley, 30, Inverness Point, Warsaw. Bradley was traveling east on East US 30 when an unknown driver rear-ended his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
• 9:59 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, West CR 200S, east of South Country Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Rileigh N. Meadows, 18, East CR 750S, Pierceton. Meadows was traveling east on West CR 200S when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
• 11:23 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, Lake City Highway, near East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Domingo Perez, 35, South Kostner Avenue, Chicago, Ill.; and Douglas J. Hinthorn, 53, West Park Drive, Huntington. Perez’s vehicle rear-ended Hinthorn’s vehicle while in the westbound lanes of Lake City Highway. Perez was arrested at the scene for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and his vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
• 9:47 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 650 W. 300N, Warsaw. Driver: Timothy O. Gilbert, 16, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Gilbert was pulling his vehicle out of a parking spot when he hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

• 6:09 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, East Center Street, west of South Scott Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Sharon K. Blanton, 57, Nye Street, Warsaw; Caleb J. McDonough, 30, East Epworth Forest Road, North Webster; and Cheryl D. Harshman, 44, East CR 300S, Akron. Blanton realized a stoplight was red and tried to stop her vehicle. Her foot slipped off the brake pedal, causing her to rear-end McDonough’s vehicle, which caused him to hit Harshman’s vehicle. A passenger in McDonough’s vehicle said she hit her head on the dash when they were hit. She refused medical attention. Damage up to $25,000.

• 1:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Joyce A. Walters, 64, Beckley Street, North Manchester; and Kathryn J. Dosal, 51, SR 19, Goshen. Walters and Dosal were both backing their vehicles at the same time when their vehicles collided. Damage up to $5,000.
• 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, South SR 15, near East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jonathan L. Helvey, 18, South CR 1000W, Claypool; and Dylan J. Rose, 21, North Hartzler Street, Warsaw. Helvey was traveling south on South SR 15 when he disregarded a red traffic signal at the East Market Street intersection. This resulted in Rose’s vehicle hitting Helvey’s. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 11:16 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, Sunday Lane, north of Oak Street, Winona Lake. Driver: Joshua C. Cortez White, 32, Holly Road, Benton Harbor, Mich. Cortez White was attempting to park his vehicle when it began rolling backward, hitting a set of wooden steps and a concrete retaining wall at 1508 Chestnut St., Winona Lake. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $25,000.
