Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 4:57 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, South SR 19, south of West Welch Road, Etna Green. Driver: Wesley W. Watkins, 56, East Jackson Street, Mentone. Watkins was traveling north on SR 19 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
• 6:13 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, East CR 450N, east of EMS C29 Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Christopher S. Hartleroad, 48, South Main Street 3, Milford. Hartleroad was traveling west on East CR 450N when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
• 12:11 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, North CR 175E, north of EMS C24 Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Daken F. Ault, 21, East Walnut Street, Warsaw. Ault was traveling north on CR 175E when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
• 2:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 436 W. River Chase Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Dawn M. Auer, 56, West River Chase Drive, Warsaw. Auer was backing her vehicle out of her garage when she backed into a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Auer’s vehicle then pushed the unoccupied vehicle into the yard. No damage was reported to the residence and no injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 9:53 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, East CR 400S, east of South Magee Road, Warsaw. Driver: Whitney R. Rowe, 25, South Wausau Street, Warsaw. Rowe was traveling east on East CR 400S when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
• 5:57 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, North CR 700W, north of West CR 100N, Warsaw. Driver: Angela D. Luttrell, 47, North CR 475E, Leesburg. Luttrell was traveling north on North CR 700W when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $10,000.
• 5:17 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, West CR 300N, west of North CR 200W, Warsaw. Driver: Tiana V. Mattern, 21, West Old Road 30 664, Warsaw. Mattern was traveling east on West CR 300N when her vehicle left the roadway, traveling up an embankment and overturning. Mattern’s vehicle landed across CR 300N on its wheels. A passenger in Mattern’s vehicle, Zane E. Mattern, 18, Martinsville, sustained a minor hand injury and refused treatment at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
• 4:43 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, South SR 13, south of East CR 1200S, Sidney. Driver: Gerald S. Pitman, 53, West CR 500N, Huntington. Pitman was traveling south on SR 13 when an oncoming vehicle crossed the center line, resulting in Pitman losing control of his vehicle. Pitman’s vehicle spun in the roadway and then left the roadway. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 10:34 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, East CR 575S, near South CR 525E, Pierceton. Driver: Joseph D. Douglas-Sass, 22, College Avenue, Winona Lake. Douglas-Sass was traveling west on East CR 575S when his vehicle left the roadway and rolled partially down a hill. Damage up to $2,500.
• 5:26 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, South CR 100E, south of East CR 600S, Claypool. Driver: Michael T. Mulligan, 45, South CR 300E, Warsaw. Mulligan was traveling north on CR 100E when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $25,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 7:59 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, US 30, near SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Will S. Coning, 21, CR 7, Goshen; and Lori M. Jared, 38, West First Street, Milford. Coning rear-ended Jared’s vehicle while Jared’s vehicle was stopped at the US 30 off-ramp to SR 15 stop light. No injuries were reported in the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
• 2:02 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 1404 Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: David A. Hein, 22, East CR 300S B., Warsaw; and Dustin E. Harty, 39, North CR 175E 27, Warsaw. Hein attempted to go around Harty’s vehicle in a parking lot when he intentionally turned into Harty’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
