Press Release
WARSAW — Recently, the men in Kosciusko County’s Jail Chemical Addiction Program (JCAP) were treated to a visit from G&G Hauling.
The men from both JCAP classes came together for the presentation, which made for a large, engaged group. The men enjoyed learning the history of G&G and about their foundation of community, character, communication and capability, on which they are built.
Mike Loher, Jo Kateule, Megan Carr, Charlie Bird and Troy Busenburg joined the men for two hours as they discussed G&G’s core principles and how those same values and standards apply to our everyday lives.
Kateule spoke about how laying a solid foundation, whether at the job site or in life, is critical to the future of the project. She also spoke about integrity and knowing that sometimes making the right decision now will have greater significance years later.
Loher said G&G drivers log nearly 1,174,000 miles each year and their equipment will move approximately 250,000 cubic yards of dirt and stone. Loher explained that without effective communication, their operation doesn’t run smoothly and time and money are wasted. Like in life, when people communicate, ask for help and work hard, future potential problems can be eliminated.
Bird talked about the drones and high tech software G&G uses to map out job sites. There are many regulations around the use of drones and following all the rules to the letter is an absolute must.
