Extension Homemakers Hold Holiday Program

WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers held their annual Holiday Program, Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Home and Family Arts Building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.
The daylong event was filled with demonstrations and crafts. The morning session focused on entertaining and decorating ideas with presentations by Judy Egolf, Atwood Home Study club; and Beverly Earnhart and Sue Martin, Knitting Together club.
The afternoon session was filled with make-it-and-take-it holiday crafts. Craft instructors were Janice Bolin, Rural Neighbors; Sue Martin, Knitting Together; and Marvene Johnson, Merry Tones. Those attending went home with completed crafts they had made such as wreaths, painted snowmen, felt and cork ornaments, door decorations, recipes, and much more.
Snacks and lunch were provided by Tippecanoe Township and Better Homes Extension Homemaker clubs. Planning this year’s program was County President Sue Martin and President Elect Marvene Johnson.
The Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers program is open to anyone interested in education, leadership development, and volunteer community support and is affiliated with Purdue Extension Service.
