If you like making your own gifts, come to the Knit 1 Crochet 2 Class 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, and make a farm truck holiday throw pillow. You have a choice of knitting or crocheting it. The class is free, but you must bring your own knitting or crocheting supplies. A list of the supplies you need is available at the circulation desk.
Although the holidays are a festive time, they can also be stressful. Chill out with Chair Yoga 11 a.m. every Wednesday. Each class is followed by a 15-minute meditation session for relaxation.
As the weather turns cooler, stop by the library and enjoy the cozy fireplace. It’s a relaxing place to leaf through a magazine, read a newspaper or chat with a friend.
During the Thanksgiving holiday, the library will close early at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24 and be closed all day Thanksgiving, Nov. 25; Friday, Nov. 26; and Saturday, Nov. 27. The library will re-open 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29.
