Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 6:04 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, South SR 15, south of West CR 400S, Warsaw. Driver: Christopher C. Coffman, 32, East CR 100N, Logansport. Coffman was traveling northbound on South SR 15 near West CR 400S, Warsaw, when his vehicle collided with a deer. Damage: Up to $2,500.
- 12:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, East Pierceton Road, west of East Washington Road, Pierceton. Driver: Aaron J. Maple, 21, North CR 750W, Rochester. Maple was traveling westbound on Pierceton Road west of Washington Road, Pierceton, when his vehicle hit a deer. Damage: Up to $10,000.
- 8:21 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, East CR 400S, west of County Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Devon W. Borkholder, 44, East CR 100S, Pierceton. Borkholder was traveling westbound on East CR 400S in the area of South County Farm Road, Warsaw, when his vehicle hit a deer. Damage: Up to $10,000.
- 7:23 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, North Zimmer Road, north of Oakwood Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Erdenebayar Lkhagvasuren, 31, Odlum Drive, Schaumburg, Ill. Lkhagvasuren was traveling southbound on North Zimmer Road in the area of Oakwood Drive, Warsaw. His GPS told him to turn onto Oakwood Drive to get to LSC Communications. He turned westbound on Oakwood Drive and his trailer tires collided with a pole’s guy wire. Damage: Up to $10,000.
- 6:44 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, West Crystal Lake Road, east of West Snyder Road, Warsaw. Driver: Abbey M. Sponseller, 38, South CR 900W, Mentone. Sponseller was traveling eastbound on West Crystal Lake Road east of West Snyder Road, Warsaw, when her vehicle collided with a deer. Damage: Up to $5,000.
- 6:52 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, EMS B59 Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Kelly D. Miller, 56, EMS B62 Lane, Warsaw. Miller’s vehicle struck a property line marker. Damage: Up to $1,000.
- 4:39 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Angel Torres Roubert, 23, Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw. Roubert’s vehicle struck a mailbox. Damage: Up to $2,500.
- 10:31 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Driver: Benjamin B. Keyes, 18, Jackson Boulevard, Elkhart. Keyes’ vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. Keyes sustained cuts on his right arm but refused medical treatment. Damage: Up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 5:14 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 211 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw. Driver: Unknown. A woman said she parked her vehicle around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, in the parking lot of 211 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw. She said she went in to work at Lakeland Financial Corp., 114 Market St., Warsaw. When she got off work around 5 p.m., she noticed she had scratch marks on the passenger rear bumper of her vehicle. She said it was a brand-new vehicle and didn’t have any previous damage. When she parked her vehicle, she noticed a silver in color truck parked next to her on the right passenger side. She believed that was the vehicle that scratched hers. The other vehicle was not found. Damage: Up to $1,000.
