North Webster Chamber Names Member Of The Month
News Release
NORTH WEBSTER—North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce named The Pearl its member of the month for November.
The Pearl, owned by Courtney and Brandon Sturgill, has been open since May 1, 2021. It started with 25 vendors and has almost doubled the number of vendors along with several artists.
“We have now exploded to 47 vendors. We have 17 artists. They range from 12 years old to 85 years old and they all live within a 20-30 minutes range of here,” Courtney Sturgill said. “So, everything that’s in our store comes from someone in our community.”
In addition to the boutique, they also have an event venue space and a photography studio upstairs.
“We do birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, all that stuff in the back,” Sturgill said. “Upstairs we have a photography studio. So, we have a local photographer that rents it full time, but we also rent it out to aspiring photographers who want to break into that world.”
They became members of the chamber after being approached by Chamber President Mindy Scaggs of Remax Lakes.
“We heard what were her plans, were very excited about it and decided that they have got to be members,” Scaggs said.
Sturgill shared what being member of the month means to her as well as what it means to be a part of the community.
“I think it’s amazing, we love it,” she said. “We love North Webster and we are extremely blessed to be a part of it.”
