North Webster High School Yearbooks Are At The Library
News Release
NORTH WEBSTER — If patrons graduated from North Webster High School, they can re-visit the school days on North Webster Community Public Library’s website where old North Webster High School yearbooks are available for viewing.
North Webster High School Troy yearbooks from 1948 through 1968 have been digitized and posted for page-by-page online browsing. In addition, Wawasee High School yearbooks from 1969 through 1999 are also posted.
Visit www.nweb.lib.in.us, click on the Local History and Genealogy tab at the top of the home page, then click on North Webster High School Troy yearbooks in the right hand column. Hard copies of the yearbooks are also available for browsing inside the library’s Local History and Genealogy Room along with a limited number of yearbooks from other area schools and colleges.
While on the library’s website, patrons may also research the family tree by logging onto Heritage Quest using your North Webster Library card. The Heritage Quest link can be found on the Research Tools and Local History and Genealogy pages of the website where patrons can access U.S. and Canadian census records, Revolutionary War records, family and local history books, obituaries and more.
Stop by the library and play November’s book contest. Read a book, listen to an audio book or watch a DVD with an American pioneer setting. When completed, enter the title, name and phone number in the drawing for a chance to win a prize. Enter as many times as you complete a book, audio book or DVD. The more you read, listen and watch the more chances there are to win a prize. The drawing will be held at the end of the month.
While inside the library, be sure to view the Fred Clark Art Exhibit featuring historic paintings. The paintings are on loan from Susie Heath and Nancy Gray as well from Fred Clark’s personal collection. Additional paintings by Clark are on display in the library’s hallway.
