Ted R. Heckman, 71, rural Lagro, and Marion, died at 11:40 a.m., Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, at his family farm in Lagro. He was born Dec. 16, 1949, in Wabash, to Dward Victor “DV” and Julia (Haupert) Heckman.

He is survived by his brother, Edward (Joan) Heckman of Avon; two nephews: Scott Heckman of Englewood, Colo.; and Doug (Tracy) Heckman of Avon; great nephews, Brett, and Luis, and his great niece, Lucy.
