NLC Well Represented In Tennis All-State Nods

INDIANAPOLIS – The boys tennis season is now fully in the books, and with it, the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association (IHSTeCA) announced its choices for tennis All-State.
The association chose First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mentions for both singles and doubles for players from around the state.
Locally, the Northern Lakes Conference had four of its member teams represented with Honorable Mention All-State picks. Among the choices were NorthWood’s doubles team of Chaz Yoder and Brady Chupp, Northridge’s doubles team of Evan Nay and Collin Seegert along with singles player Brendan LaCounte, Goshen’s doubles team of Carter Schmucker and Joel Byler along with singles player Pi Wellington, and Plymouth’s doubles team of Bennett Christy and Matt Manzuk.
First Team All-State singles went to St. Joe’s Daniel Pries and First Team All-State doubles went to Bremen’s Shay Kyser and Mason Porter.
Second Team All-State singles went to Culver Academy’s Constantino’s Oberto, St. Joe’s Kyle Fernandez and Westview’s Isaiah Hostetler. Second Team All-State doubles went to St. Joe’s doubles team of Colin Blumentritt and David Borders.

East Noble – Vittorio Bona, Max Bender, Carver Miller
New Prairie – Nick Boyd
