Trick Or Treat Hours? Here Is The List.

WARSAW – This year, many towns’ trick or treat hours are on Saturday, Oct. 30, even though Halloween falls on Sunday, Oct. 31.
The following is a recap of Halloween activities. Activities happening this weekend are bolded.

Akron
- The Henry Township Fire Department’s costume contest is 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the fire station.
- Trick-or-treating is 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, in town.
- Hartzler’s Halloween Bash is 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, in the Hartzler Funeral Home parking lot, 305 W. Rochester St. There will be a trunk-or-treat with candy, games and food, all free to the community.
- The Akron Parks are hosting a glow-in-the-dark disc golf tournament on Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Cutshall Park course. The event is limited to the first 50 participants. People are required to preregister by 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, by clicking here. The cost is $25 to enter. The event starts at 6 p.m. with registration and warm-up and is set to end with awards at 11 p.m. Funds raised will help with the upkeep of the course and a new restroom facility.
Atwood
- The Atwood Fire Department will have a haunted house and trick or treat from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29.
- Otterbein United Methodist Church in Atwood will be hosting a Trunk or Treat in their parking lot from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29. The church is located at 306 E. Main St., Atwood. Hot chocolate, doughnuts and fellowship will also be available in the church’s fellowship hall during the event.
Culver
- Mt. Hope Church, 7022 W. 700N, Culver, will hold Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 23. The costume contest starts at 5:30 p.m. with cash prizes for first, second and third places. Donuts, apple cider, kids’ crafts and safe trick or treating in the church parking lot will take place from 6-7 p.m.
Etna Green
- Trick or treat hours are from 5-7 pm. Saturday, Oct. 30.
- The Lions Club of Etna Green will also hold its annual “Hayride and Hot Dogs” event on Friday, Oct. 29, at Heritage Park. The hayride departs at 6:30 p.m. so plan accordingly. Free hot dogs and hot chocolate will be available.
Leesburg
- Trick or treat hours are from 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30.
Mentone
- Trick or treat hours are 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Judging for the costume contest is at 7:30 p.m. that day at Mentone Elementary School.
Milford
- Trick or treat hours will be 6-8 p.m Saturday, Oct. 30.
Nappanee
- Trick or treat hours are from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30.
- The Nappanee Parks and Recreation Department will hold a harvest party from 6:30-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, in Nappanee’s downtown pavilion. There will be carnival-style games, a spooky shuttle and a costume contest. The shuttle runs from 6-8:30 p.m. with stops at the downtown pavilion, library, and the Boys & Girls Club. Nappanee’s library and Boys & Girls club will be holding their own events from 5-7 p.m. Pre-registration for K-8 and families for the costume contest is appreciated but not required. North Webster
- Trick or treat hours are from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30.
- The North Webster Boy Scout Troop 728 and North Webster Lions is hosting their Amazing Haunted House from 7-9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 22, 23, 29 and 30. It is located at the Mermaid Festival Grounds, 410 W. Washington St., North Webster. The cost is $7 per person.
- North Webster American Legion Post 253 is hosting a Halloween party and costume contest from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29. A costume contest for all ages starts at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public. The post location is 756 S. SR 13, North Webster.
- North Webster Church of God will host its annual trunk-or-treat event from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. The event will be hosted indoors. Pre-register your family to reserve a time slot online. Bring ticket confirmation, digital or print, to the event. Free food will also be available at the church’s trunk-or-treat.

Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory will host their open house from 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. The costume contest is open to those 12 and younger. Winners will be announced at 8 p.m. Enjoy treats, drinks and fun.
Pierceton
- Trick or treating hours are 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30.
Roann
- Olive Branch Church in Roann will host a Trunk or Treat gathering at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29. Trunk or Treat at Olive Branch is a safe place for families with kids of all ages. There will be hayrides, games and prizes, free supper and plenty of trunks full of treats. The church is at 4581 E. CR 1200N, Roann.
Rochester
- The 16th annual Haunted Woods Trail takes place this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22 and 23, and next Friday and Saturday, Oct. 29 and 30, at the Fulton County Museum grounds, 37 E. 375N, Rochester. Tours are 7:30 p.m. until finished on each night. Tickets are $8 for ages 12 and older, $3 for ages 6-11 and free for ages 5 and younger. Tours are partially guided with a tram ride to the woods. Children under 15 must be accompanied by adults. Proceeds from the event benefit the museum.
- Boofest returns to downtown Rochester on Friday, Oct. 29. This year the event will just include trick-or-treating at downtown businesses. It will be 4:30-5:30 p.m.
- The city’s trick-or-treat hours are 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31.
Silver Lake
- Trick or treat hours are from 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31.
- The town of Silver Lake and the Silver Lake Lions Club are sponsoring “Halloween Happenings” on Sunday, Oct. 31. This outdoor event will be held at Memory Park, one block south of the stoplight in Silver Lake on SR 15. Hours will be from 6-7:30 p.m., while supplies last.
Syracuse
- Trick or treat hours are 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31.
- Tails & Trails, a five-mile stroll around Syracuse Lake for humans and dogs, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23. A costume contest will be held for the scariest, funniest and best in show. Dogs must be leashed.
- Haunted Thrill at Crosson Mill Park, Syracuse, is happening from 7-9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 22, 23, 29 and 30. Cost is $5 and recommended for those 12 and older.
- Syracuse Parks Department will host a drive-thru trick or treat event from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Syracuse Community Center parking lot.
Warsaw
- Trick or treat hours are 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30.
- Warsaw Community Development Corp. (WCDC) in partnership with the City of Warsaw and Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club will host Downtown Warsaw Spooktakular 2021 on Friday, Oct. 29. Costume contest registration begins at 5:30 p.m. on the courthouse lawn, downtown trick-or-treating will be from 6-7 p.m. and costume judging will start at 7 p.m. For more information, contact WCDC at (574) 267-6311.
- Community Life Center in Warsaw will host their annual trunk or treat from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Bring the kids to come enjoy the decorated trunks and safe trick or treating in the church parking lot. Parking will be in the grass to the north of the parking lot. - Soul Takers Acres is open at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds from 8-11 p.m. Oct. 22, 23, 29 and 30. Tickets are $15. A limited number of VIP fast passes are available each night to bypass the line for $20.
Winona Lake
- Trick or treat hours will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30.
