Panther Duo Among All-District Picks

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association (IHSTeCA) released its selections for the 2021 All-District awards for boys tennis.
The organization selects players for eight geographical districts, northern Indiana comprising Districts 1 and 2.
Among the choices for District 2 were the NorthWood doubles duo of Chaz Yoder and Brady Chupp, one of three Northern Lakes Conference programs to have players selected for District 2. Goshen had the doubles team of Carter Schmucker and Joel Byler as well as Pi Wellington selected, as were the Northridge doubles duo of Evan Nay and Collin Seegert.
Also earning honors for District 2 were Westview’s Isaiah Hostetler and Elijah Hostetler and East Noble’s Vittorio Bona, Max Bender and Carver Miller.
District 1 had Penn land three in David Bao, Jeffrey Bao and Eli Dieschly, New Prairie with Nick Boyd, and South Bend St. Joe with Daniel Pries, Kyle Fernandez, Colin Blumentritt, David Borders, Jake Westberry and Piotr Nabryzski.
District 1 Coach of the Year went to Munster’s Patrick Spohr and District 2 Coach of the Year went to Fort Wayne Carroll’s Kyle Stoffel.
