“I’m really pleased with how our team moved the ball today,” said Warsaw head coach Jon Hoover. “Everyone who stepped on the field moved the ball with pace and efficiency. With such a big game coming on Saturday, it was really helpful to prepare for the championship by limiting the minutes of our starters while getting valuable minutes for the reserves. I thought from top to bottom our roster played great tonight.”

Wrap for LCA: LPC was the aggressor tonight and were able to score a quick goal. They capitalized again on a rebound after Finley Hobbs made a great save but wasn’t able to get to the second one. Play kind of evened out and LCA started to generate some pressure. Lauren Grose scored the only LCA goal to cut the lead in half. That was short lived as LPC scored a third goal before half. The second half saw mostly even play. LPC tallied its fourth and LCA never generated quality scoring chances for the rest of the game.
“I’m proud of the effort the girls gave all game tonight,” said LCA head coach Nat Raber. “We have a small bench and at one point we were a player down, but the girls gave their best. We have a young team and a bright future ahead of us. We will miss our seniors for sure and I’m glad for the example they set on and off the field to the younger players.”
