North Webster Library Director Resigns

NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster Community Public Library Board of Trustees announces the resignation of its Library Director Heather Barron. Regarding her resignation, Barron stated she is leaving for personal reasons at the end of October.
“The board of trustees is sad to see Heather leave and wishes her only the best in the next phase of her life”, stated Board President Phil Metcalf. He went on to say, “The board appreciates all that Heather has done for the library while she was the director.”
While Barron’s resignation is effective at the end of October, she has agreed to stay on as needed until the end of the year to help with the transition period until a new director is hired.
North Webster Community Public Library is located at 110 E. North St. North Webster. The library is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
