MILFORD — Milford Public Library staff is excited to offer a new title to its reference catalog as a resource to patrons. “The Complete Resource Guide for People with Chronic Illness, 2021/22” by Greyhouse Publishing is an amazing resource available, as reference only, in the library.
This title is shelved behind the adult circulation desk and patrons can request copies from its pages. It’s available in hard copy for in library use or online by going to the library’s website at www.milford.lib.in.us and clicking on the link located on the home screen. The website can be accessed using the public computers or remotely by visiting the library’s website. Library computers are available to the public and a library card is not needed.
This is a great resource for health care professionals, anyone suffering from chronic illness, or persons supporting one with chronic illness. The Complete Resource Guide for People with Chronic Illness is packed full of information and available resources. The guide for 2021/22 is the first stop guide that’s easy to navigate. This guide will point you in the direction of answers and resources. They’ve done all the research so you can focus on getting the right information and save time.
The book is divided into 89 of the most prevalent chronic illnesses. Illnesses are seperated alphabetically by disorder. Each section has a description of illness followed by national and state resources, as well as agencies geared to the specific condition and a description of services and information. This is followed by a section that lists research centers, support groups, books, children’s books, magazines, newsletters, pamphlets, audio/video resources, and websites specific to the disorder.
