Plymouth Traffic Stop Uncovers Drugs, $16,000 In Cash

PLYMOUTH — A traffic stop in the area of 12th and Pear roads in Plymouth resulted in police finding narcotics and a large amount of cash. The traffic stop occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19,
Lawrence Edward Gannom, 50, Muncie, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug and driving while suspended – prior. Additional charges may be forthcoming.
A Marshall County Sheriff deputy conducted the traffic stop and K9 Officer Diesel was deployed and alerted to the presence of the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. During the search deputies found suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and over $16,000 in cash.
