GOP Caucus For Winona Lake Town Council Announced

WINONA LAKE – A Republican caucus will convene on Sept. 17 to fill the vacancy left after Winona Lake Town Councilman Jim Zachary died unexpectedly last week.
Zachary died on Aug. 17 at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was 39.
He was in his first term as a town council representative for Ward 1.
Kosciusko County Republican Chairman Mike Ragan said Monday, Aug. 23, the caucus will take place at 2:30 pm. Friday, Sept. 17, in the Winona Lake Town Council Meeting Room.
Any Republican in good standing and residing in Ward 1 of Winona Lake is eligible to seek the seat. All candidates must file no later than 72 hours prior to the caucus, which is Sept. 14.
Declaration forms are available in the Kosciusko County Clerk’s office.
