WARSAW – The second of two traffic signal upgrades has begun in downtown Warsaw.
With work at the Indiana and Center street intersection improvements near completion, crews are now working two blocks to the west on the intersection of Lake and Center streets, which will remain open as a four-way stop.
The transition began Monday morning, Aug. 9.
Installation of new traffic poles, signals and crosswalk controls will require the temporary closing of some parking spaces close to the intersection.
The intersection will remain open, but motorists should expect delays or seek an alternate route. The project is expected to take approximately one month to complete.Â
Signals at Indiana and Center were activated Monday morning, but final work on the crosswalk controls is not complete.
