SYRACUSE – Holden Babb is the 2021 Staley Tennis Challenger Series champion.

He led the group of 14 players with 153 points during the summer season. During the series, Babb went undefeated with a 7-0 record as the No. 1 player in the top rung.

Past champion Joseph Harper finished second and Devon Kuhn finished third with 96 points and 83 points respectively.

The Challenger Series, which is run through Staley Tennis, promotes match play between junior academy players and mentors as players earn points for matches played, total games won and matches won. Babb is currently a senior at Wawasee High School and No. 1 singles player for the Warriors. He becomes the third champion in four years, but the first to achieve this honor while remaining in the top rung throughout the entire season.
