Kittle Takes Cedarville Coaching Job
Press Release
WINONA LAKE – Grace College announced that track and field assistant coach Max Kittle has accepted an assistant coaching job at NCAA Div. II Cedarville University (Ohio).
Kittle has spent the past four seasons as an assistant with the Lancers. He was hired in 2017 as the first full-time assistant in program history.
He was an accomplished All-American athlete from Anderson University and was later a graduate assistant at Olivet Nazarene University.
Kittle was a key component of Grace’s national championship squad in 2021. The Lancer men claimed the 2021 NCCAA outdoor track and field national title, the first championship in team history.
The team has revamped the record books in recent years, and dozens of athletes have achieved All-American status since Kittle’s arrival.
“Max did a tremendous job serving as the assistant track and field coach. We are very happy for him, and we wish him all the best in his new position at Cedarville,” said Grace’s Director of Athletics Chad Briscoe.
Grace will look to fill the full-time assistant job this summer, joining a staff of Michael Moffitt (track and field head coach) and Jake Poyner (cross country head coach/track assistant).
