Democrats To Tout Spending Plan In North Manchester Thursday
News Release
INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Democrats are continuing to promote benefits related to the American Jobs Plan, this time in North Manchester.
The group, led by Brett Voorhies, president of AFL-CIO, and state Sens. Eddie Melton and JD Ford, will continue the Indiana Democratic Party’s American Jobs Plan tour to show why Indiana needs the Jobs Plan and a revitalized infrastructure system, according to a news release from the Indiana Democratic Party.
The statewide tour, a sequel to the American Rescue Plan tour, will allow Hoosiers to hear more about a plan that will create good-paying jobs, dismantle Indiana Republicans’ “right to work” laws and build a better future for Hoosier families, the news release said.
Thursday’s event at The Fire House, 108 W. Main St., North Manchester, starts at 6 p.m.
