Old Jail Museum In Urgent Need Of Volunteers
News Release
WARSAW — The Old Jail Museum in Warsaw is in urgent need of volunteers.
“We no longer have a person to cover the front desk of the museum on the third Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To avoid closures on those Saturdays, we would appreciate someone willing to cover this shift,” said Nanette Frantz, co-director of Old Jail Museum.
The museum is also in need of volunteers for the Dillinger Raid in September.
“We need volunteers for the mornings and/or afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 11,” Frantz said. “The hours on Saturday will be from 9-5, but we can use you either morning or afternoon or both. We also need volunteers for Sunday, Sept. 12, from 1-5.”
Anyone interested in helping should contact the Jail Museum or by Facebook message or email. If you send an email, please be certain they respond that they have received your email. The museum has been having computer problems and officials want to be certain they make contact with everyone who is interested.
