Family Needs Help After Oswego Fire

OSWEGO — A house fire in Oswego Thursday morning, July 29, has left the residents in need of items.
Lightning allegedly hit the garage of the home where Chelsea Saltsman and her two children, ages 2 and 5, lived. The fire spread to the rest of the house. Saltsman was renting the home. Their belongings were damaged in the fire, and another couple who lived in the home lost their belongings.
An official cause of the fire has not been released yet. The fire is under investigation. There was considerable water and smoke damage.
The family’s dog is now temporarily at Isaiah 11 Ministry, a counseling center and animal refuge facility in Warsaw.
