Chase Tyler Blackburn
Chase Tyler Blackburn, 31, Indianapolis, formerly of Milford, passed away in Indianapolis. He was born on June 9, 1990, in Goshen, to Randall Lee and Carolyn P. (Bjella) Blackburn.
He graduated in 2009 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse and received an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design from International Business College in Fort Wayne. He grew up in Milford and moved to the Indianapolis area in 2011. He was a musician with several Indianapolis area bands, gave guitar lessons, was affiliated with the Indianapolis String Theory, and formerly worked at Pot Belly & Cluster Truck both in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Carr of Milford; father, Randall Blackburn of Milford; two brothers: Travis Blackburn of Milford; and Colten Coburn of Milford; grandparents: Thirsten and Ada Blackburn of Milford.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dallas and Luanne Bjella.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
