Ker Park In Warsaw Gets New Look, Equipment
Staff Report
WARSAW — Renovations at Ker Park have been completed and the park, which features a new look and new equipment, is open for public use.
Warsaw Parks Superintendent Larry Plummer received approval from board members to begin the park project in 2020.
The park at 1220 E. Market St., Warsaw, was updated with new playground equipment as well as new picnic tables and receptacles.
The deteriorating sidewalks were replaced and the entrance was redone.
A donation from Warsaw resident Connie Ker, one of the last remaining Kers in town, enabled the parks department to install the playground equipment for younger children along with the other items and do it all at the same time.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated park will take place at 1 p.m. July 27.
