SYRACUSE — The Syracuse Redevelopment Commission awarded a bid to Beer and Slabaugh as the contractors for the new ball park. It was also announced a donation was made to cover the overage for the park.
While going over claims, Larry Siegel, president of the Syracuse Redevelopment Commission, noted the claims will get larger as construction for the new ball field gets underway.
A motion was made and approved to return earnest money to QES Realty LLC/Hammerhead. The company was going to purchase lot one in the Syracuse Technology Park then changed its mind.
