Valley Well Represented In TRC Diamond Notes

WABASH – The Three Rivers Conference offered up its award winners for baseball and softball for the 2021 season, and Tippecanoe Valley was among several selections.
In softball, Valley had three infielders named to the list in pitcher Corinna Stiles, second baseman Molly Moriarty and catcher Madi Smith. Macy Kirchenstien, who largely helped the team as a pitcher, was named an Honorable Mention All-TRC pick.
In baseball, pitcher Owen Kirchenstien, who was among the state’s leaders in ERA, was joined by battery mate Annikan Pettit and outfielder Payton Mills on the All-TRC list. Honorable Mention went to DJ Estep, who impacted the roster as a relief pitcher.
Among the softball All-TRC votes for the conference included pitchers Graycee Ansari of Peru, Lauren Duncan of North Miami, Gus Garr of Whitko and Abigail Hunter of Northfield. Catchers included Hailey Wolfe of Peru, Addison Miller of North Miami, Aubree Mouser of Maconaquah and Guinny Garr of Whitko.
Infielders included Karsynn Beattie of Peru, Ellie Musselman of North Miami, Mackenzie Butler of Maconaquah, Misha Brandenburg of Whitko, Emma Howdeshell of Rochester, Addi Baker of Northfield, Jenna Krom of Northfield, Paxton Baker of Manchester and Avery Isley of Manchester.
Outfielders included Madi Lutz of Wabash, Taylor Tinney of North Miami, Lilly Maple of Maconaquah, Madelyn Daffron of Whitko, Madelyn Turner of Southwood, Sydney Haughs of Rochester, Kyra Kennedy of Northfield, Addy Rosen of Northfield and Kindra Stetzel of Manchester. Extra players went to Reese Hoover of North Miami and Kayliana Williams of Maconaquah.
Honorable Mentions for softball included Torina Runkel of Manchester, Amaya Rader of Maconaquah, Shyloe Hunt of North Miami, Kenzie Baer of Northfield, Abby Martin of Peru, Mya Musselman of Rochester, Lili Combs of Southwood, Montana Judy of Wabash and Harley Bradley of Whitko.
Among the baseball All-TRC votes for the conference included pitchers Tristan Hayslett of Southwood, Carson Rich of Southwood, Joe Leland of Wabash and Leif Astrup of Peru. Catchers included Mo Lloyd of Southwood and Jacob Loftus of Peru.
Infielders included Alex Farr of Southwood, Logan Barley of Southwood, Tarick McGlothin of Rochester, Alex Masters of North Miami, Justin Hall of Manchester, Anthony Foust of Manchester, Ian Potts of Peru, JP Thomlinson of Maconaquah and Clayton Tomlinson of Northfield.
Outfielders included Braden Burns of North Miami, Jasper Walter of Wabash, Kade Townsend of Peru, Mason Yentes of Southwood, Connor Rich of Southwood, Evan Wilson of Whitko and Kyle Reinartz of Rochester.
