Mentone Egg Festival Starts Tonight, Runs Through Saturday

MENTONE — The Mentone Egg Festival begins Thursday night, June 3, in downtown Mentone.
After being canceled last year due to COVID-19, the festival returns with the theme, “Dreams of the Future.”
The festival runs through Saturday, June 5.
The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, June 3
- 5 p.m. – Flea markets, crafts, food vendors – kids area — Uptown
- 7:30 p.m. – Music with The Bulldogs (Formerly Spike and the Bulldogs) – In Memory of Russell and Leona Eber — Fire Station
Friday, June 4
- 11 a.m.-Close – Bell burgers and more by the Bell Museum — Tent
- Noon-9 p.m – Flea markets, crafts, food vendors — Uptown
- 2 p.m.-Dark – Inflatables and Games — Uptown
- 2 p.m.-Dark – Ride the Mechanical Bull — Downtown
- 4 p.m. – Annual Egg Festival Car, Truck, Tractor and Motorcycle Show — Tucker St.
- 6-9 p.m. – ’50s and ’60s music, Silent Auction — Uptown
- 6-9 p.m. – Music with Copper Bridges — East Main St. at The Barricade

- 8 a.m. – Egg City 5K Run — Fire Station
- 9 a.m. – Inflatables and Games – Flea Markets, Crafts, Food Stands — Uptown

- 10 a.m. – Judging the parade entries — Parade Lineup Site
