Tonna ‘Toni’ Metcalf
Tonna “Toni” Metcalf, 61, lost her courageous and hard fought 16-month battle with ALS and went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Monday, May 31, 2021, from her residence in Larwill.
Toni was born April 22, 1960, in Washington Courthouse, Ohio to William and Lillian Beach. Toni married Craig Metcalf on July 2, 1976. The pair made their home in Larwill, where he survives. In 2003, Toni earned a Technical Certificate in Office Administration from Ivy Tech State College. She mostly worked in the RV manufacturing industry, including positions back in the late 70’s at Korth Mfg in Warsaw, and at Nappanee Wood and Monaco Coach in Nappanee for over three decades. Toni also worked in the machine and medical industries at Kilgore Manufacturing and in her last position at Micropulse – both in Columbia City.
Toni was a wonderful and kind person and loved being with her family, especially at large family get-togethers. Toni also loved quiet nights with her husband, shopping together and traveling with him to places like Denver and her favorite place in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area. She also loved going to events like music concerts and home and garden shows. Toni was a member of the Bible Way Apostolic Church of Nappanee.
In addition to her husband, Craig Metcalf of Larwill, Toni is survived by daughter, Kristin Ruckman of Plymouth; daughter, Amy Geib of Columbia City; son, Eric (Megan) Metcalf of Garrett; mother, Lillian Beach of Nappanee; sister, Theresa (Brian) Fry of Nappanee; brother, Tommy Beach of Warsaw; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews and nine cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Beach; brother, Terry Beach; infant brother James Beach; nephew, Jasin Beach and niece, Tracey Ingle.
Friends may gather at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, June 4. At noon, Pastor Jonathon Kitchens of Bibleway Apostolic Church will officiate Toni’s Life Celebration® service. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
