NEW PARIS — The annual New Paris Community Memorial Day parade and ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 30.

The event is hosted by the New Paris Chamber of Commerce and the New Paris Boy Scouts Troop 12.

The parade starts at 2 p.m. from the old Burger Dairy Plant, traveling south on Division Street, to Fifth Street, to Main Street, to Market Street and the cemetery. Any participants who wish to be in the parade are welcome and encouraged.

This year’s ceremony will feature a keynote address by Indiana State Senator Blake Doriot, District 12.

New Paris Boy Scouts, Troop 12, will present and raise the colors. The Goshen Veterans Honor Guard will provide a rifle salute.
