Registration is required to participate. Kids can sign up at the youth services desk or call (574) 834-7122 ext. 202.
The adult services department has added many new titles to its large print collection. As opposed to regular size type which is usually eight to 12 points, large print books feature 16 to 18-point type size, making them easier to read for those with eye strain or vision problems. The large print collection offers many genres, including non-fiction as well as romance, inspirational fiction, westerns, mysteries and thrillers, domestic fiction, historical fiction and more.
Stop by the Check-It-Out station in the adult services department next week and play the June reading contest. Check out a book, audiobook or DVD about fishing, then fill out a drawing slip with the title along with your name and phone number, and drop it in the drawing jar for a chance to win a prize. The more you check out through the month of June, the more chances you have to win. The drawing will be held the first week of July.
