Wawasee Girls Basketball Summer Camp
Wawasee is preparing for its girls basketball summer camp.
Girls basketball will have a camp June 7-10 for players in first through eighth grades.
Incoming grades 1-4 will go from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and grades 5-8 will go from11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., camps are in both the annex and spectator gym at Wawasee High School.
The camp, led by members of the WHS girls basketball coaching staff, will focus on teaching the fundamentals, while also seeking to encourage the campers to enjoy and grow in the game of basketball.

Wawasee Volleyball Camp
Wawasee’s volleyball program will also conduct its summer camp from June 21-23.
Boys and girls are both welcome, and for grades 3-5 (incoming grade for 2021-22), camp will be 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. For grades 6-9, camp is 1:30-3:30 p.m. all three days. Campers are asked to arrive at the Wawasee annex gym 10 minutes ahead of their camp start time to check in.
Cost is $35 per player for the younger group, $50 for the older group. There is no hard deadline for camp registration, campers can register the first day of camp, but the coaching staff asks if at all possible to pre-register for planning purposes.
The camp is designed for athletes looking to improve their fundamentals and overall foundation of knowledge in volleyball. The high school staff and players will instruct campers on expected skills and development at their level.

Wawasee Wrestling Seeking Help For New Mats
Wawasee wrestling is looking to upgrade their wrestling room, and with it, are seeking help from its community to help pay for new mats. The wrestling program will conduct a summer fundraiser and asks those interested to visit its wrestling site.

Triton Offering Physical Night, Announces Spring Awards Dates
Triton athletics announced its Physical Night will take place Tuesday, June 1, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the high school. Cost of the physicals are $10 and are good for anyone in grades 4-11 for the coming year. A completed physical must be on file for an athlete to compete in athletics at any level of competition (HS, MS, Elem.).
Triton also announced its junior high awards will be Wednesday, May 26, at 5:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria and the high school awards will be Wednesday, June 2, with a 6 p.m. start in the cafeteria.
