Warsaw, Northridge Frontline All-NLC Track Selections

GOSHEN – Highly successful days at the Northern Lakes Conference Track Championships afforded big numbers for Warsaw and Northridge in the All-NLC selections for the 2021 season.
Girls Track
Warsaw won 12 of the 16 events at the conference championships, giving itself a host of automatic selections. Overall, 13 Lady Tigers were named First Team in Avery Fitzgerald, Josie Niebbia, Amanda Lusinde, Baylee Duncan, Adree Beckham, Abby Sanner, Wini Barnett, Ava Knight, Kendra Love, Joey Rastrelli, Lilly Boston, Marin Hart and Sarah Kratzsch.
Another two Lady Tigers were named Honorable Mention in Whitney Shepherd and Elizabeth Vander Bie.
Warsaw head coach Megan Davis was named the NLC Coach of the Year.
Also cracking the First Team were Daijza Robinson and Sarah Beshara of Mishawaka, Avah Devoe of Goshen, Hannah Hoffman of Northridge, Kaitlin Burden of NorthWood, and Amber Schrameyer and Sydney Rice of Plymouth.
Honorable Mentions were given to Emma Lehman and Elainna Papandrea of Northridge, Megan Gallagher of Goshen, Claire Shide of Mishawaka and Summer South of Plymouth.
Boys Track
Northridge’s perfect run through the conference and championship event provided seven All-NLC performers in Mason Floria, Carter Bach, Ricky Lloyd, Jack Moore, Chris Taylor, Taylor Tidwell and Ty Hershberger. The duo of Mason Puckett and Zaryn Rumfelt earned Honorable Mentions for the Raiders. Aaron Brick was named Coach of the Year for the Raiders.
Warsaw finished second in both steps, and had Cam Harness, Andrew Frush and Tanner Stiver all chosen as All-NLC, and Jeremy Johnson was Honorable Mention.
NorthWood had Brady Hunsberger and Brad Demitruk named All-NLC and Wawasee had Mason Possell named Honorable Mention All-NLC.
Rounding out the All-NLC picks were Jaton Thomas of Concord, Tommy Claxton, Drew Hogan, Cole Johnston and Kovan Drenth of Goshen, Troy Crooks, Mark Crooks, Davonn Parker, Max Micola and Dylan Wise of Mishawaka, and Joe Cartwright of Plymouth.
Honorable Mentions went to Anthony Roberts and Jack D’Arcy of Concord, Ryan Hoopingarner of Mishawaka and David Shadek of Plymouth.
